Montréal poutine is looking for a dynamic and motivated waiter/ waitress and hostess ready to work full time, morning and night in the old port. Come and join our amazing team.
Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, utilizing POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as per established recipes and safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed, including proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols.
- Provide attentive customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations during shifts.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills.
- Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming environment for all guests.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles within the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately.
- Experience in hospitality environments demonstrating professionalism, time management, and multitasking abilities. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry who thrive in fast-paced environments while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Pay: $12.60-$40.00 per hour
