Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for system installation and repair
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems when necessary
- Utilize welding skills for repairs or modifications of metal components within HVAC equipment
- Diagnose issues with boilers and other mechanical components associated with HVAC systems
- Repair appliances related to heating and cooling systems as needed
- Maintain detailed service records and reports for each job performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems installation and repair
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience with plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair is highly desirable
- Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation projects
- Mechanical or mechanic experience preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
