Overview
OttawaNPservices is building a collaborative hub of specialized Nurse Practitioner services and is seeking experienced clinicians with unique expertise, advanced training, or a passion for developing a focused area of practice.
OttawaNPservices is a growing Nurse Practitioner-led private clinic dedicated to delivering accessible, evidence-based, patient-centred care. Rather than providing traditional primary care, our vision is to build a team of Nurse Practitioners who each lead and grow their own area of clinical expertise within an established clinic.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced NP who is passionate about a particular clinical area but does not wish to take on the financial, administrative, and operational challenges of building an independent clinic from the ground up.
We provide the infrastructure, systems, marketing, and operational support needed to help clinicians develop and grow specialized services within an established practice.
Please note:
- This is not a traditional primary care Nurse Practitioner position.
- We are seeking Ontario-licensed Nurse Practitioners with at least one year of NP experience who are interested in building a specialized clinical service.
- Applicants must currently reside in the Ottawa region and be available to provide in-person care.
- This position is not suitable for NP students, Registered Nurses, applicants awaiting NP registration, or applicants residing outside the Ottawa region.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care within your area of competence and scope of practice.
- Conduct assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up.
- Order and interpret diagnostic investigations.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
- Contribute to the development and growth of your specialized clinical service.
QualificationsRequired
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner (Extended Class) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner (exceptional candidates with significant specialty expertise may also be considered).
- Currently residing in the Ottawa region.
- Professional liability coverage.
- Ability to practice independently within Ontario NP scope.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional standards.
