The Mission
We are seeking a tech-forward financial leader to own the internal finance function for our group of companies. You will be responsible for leading the shift from a traditional accounting model at Centreline Tire into a modernized, automated workflow. Simultaneously, you will oversee the financial integrity and automated logic within our new technology platforms, Traxx and Shudle.
Your Responsibilities
- The Architect: Lead the 6-12 month transition of legacy financial processes into a modernized, digital-first environment.
- The Overseer: Act as the "human-in-the-loop" for our AI-integrated apps. You will monitor automated HST reconciliations and intercompany transfer logic to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance.
- Real-Time Intelligence: Provide the CEO with real-time, forward-looking insights into cash flow and tax liabilities across all entities.
- Compliance Ownership: Manage the relationship with our year-end CPA firm to ensure corporate filings are handled seamlessly.
- Collaborating directly with lead tech developer
- Ability to work independantly with little structure and guidance
- Not afraid to roll up your sleeves to do tedious and entry level tasks if required

- Tax Sharp: You have a strong working knowledge of Canadian HST/GST rules and CRA corporate requirements.
