Accounting Manager – Public Accounting

Minted Search Group is partnering with an established Vancouver-based CPA firm that is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their growing public practice team.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical accounting work, client interaction, team leadership, and mentorship. The firm has built a strong reputation in the Vancouver market and is looking for someone who can help oversee client engagements while supporting the continued growth and development of staff internally.
What the role could involve:
- Managing and reviewing compilation and review engagements
- Reviewing year-end working papers and financial statements
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and responding to inquiries
- Supporting workflow management, file scheduling, and engagement timelines
- Liaising with CRA and assisting with client-related matters
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing junior team members
- Supporting partners with client deliverables and internal initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and processes
What they are hoping to find:
- CPA designation (Canada)
- Public practice experience with exposure to compilations and review engagements
- Previous experience reviewing files and managing staff
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Someone who enjoys mentoring and working collaboratively with a team
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
