Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Manage and motivate team members through effective training & development, performance evaluations, and coaching
- Oversee merchandising and store presentation to maximize sales potential
- Handle customer service issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, returns, and inventory management
- Coordinate purchasing activities and monitor inventory levels to meet store demands
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost sales performance
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in retail or similar customer-focused environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across shifts
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising and cash handling procedures
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently using time management skills
- Customer service orientation with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of marketing strategies, sales management, and retail sales techniques
- Demonstrated ability in supervising staff
