Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and organized Material Runner to support our construction crews by delivering materials, picking up supplies, and ensuring our job sites stay stocked and running efficiently. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent time management, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver construction materials to various job sites.
- Collect orders from suppliers and verify materials before delivery.
- Transport tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials safely.
- Maintain communication with office staff and site supervisors regarding deliveries.
- Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Help ensure job sites have the materials they need to stay on schedule.
- Perform other general support duties as required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
- Knowledge of exterior building products such as siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough, roofing, windows, doors, or related materials.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Construction or building supply experience is considered an asset.
