Raft Guide – Ottawa City Rafting (2026 Season)

What You’ll Do
- Lead and guide rafting trips safely and professionally on the Ottawa River
- Deliver fun, engaging, and memorable guest experiences
- Provide clear safety briefings and instruction to guests of all experience levels
- Work as part of a tight-knit, high-energy team
- Assist with trip preparation, equipment care, and daily operations
What We’re Looking For
- Strong swimming ability and comfort in moving water
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, confident, and safety-focused under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Previous guiding or outdoor experience is an asset, but not required
- NLS & Lifeguard certification is an asset
- Class G license. (Class F or C is an asset)
Training & Certifications
- Guide training provided (no prior guiding rafting experience required for the right candidate)
- Candidates must be willing to complete required certifications (Swiftwater Rescue, First Aid/CPR — we can help guide you through this process)
Schedule
- Seasonal position (End of July to Labour Day weekend, with some flexibility)
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Weekend and holiday availability required

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
