BAAN Powertrain is a Canadian family-owned business that has grown to become Canada's largest powertrain distributor and remanufacturer, supplying engines, transmissions, transfer cases, differentials, and related hard parts to auto recyclers, independent repair shops, and dealerships across Canada and internationally. We are a growing company actively expanding into new markets. We have established processes and procedures in place, but as we scale we need someone who can help us refine and elevate our operations to the next level.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take ownership of all movement of parts and personnel inside our warehouse. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast paced, high volume environment and knows how to keep a warehouse organized, efficient, and accountable.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all inbound and outbound movement of parts within the warehouse
Manage and schedule warehouse personnel to ensure coverage and productivity across shifts
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
Develop, track, and report on KPIs to measure warehouse performance and drive continuous improvement
Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time, including staying late when needed to make sure units go out the door
Champion a customer service first mindset throughout the warehouse team
Identify gaps in current processes and procedures and implement improvements as the company grows
Improve how parts are tagged and inventoried, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the warehouse
Maintain accurate inventory counts and work closely with other departments to resolve discrepancies
Enforce safety standards and warehouse best practices
What We're Looking For
Proven experience managing a fast moving, high volume warehouse, such as in a shipping company, distribution center, or similar operation
A track record of organizing and improving warehouse operations
Experience developing and using KPIs to manage performance
Experience with inventory management and parts tagging systems, with an eye for improving accuracy and traceability
Strong attention to detail and a hands on approach to problem solving
A leader who is willing to stay late and do what it takes to get units shipped
A customer service first mentality
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Comfortable working in a growing, evolving company where processes are still being refined

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
