The Role
As our Salon Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the business. You will oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations, lead a talented team of stylists and technicians, optimize the client journey, and ensure maximum operational efficiency. You will bridge the gap between business strategy and daily execution, acting as the primary leadership presence on the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily salon openings/closings, manage booking software systems, optimize schedules, and maintain an immaculate, luxury environment at all times.
- Team Leadership & Culture: Supervise, mentor, and motivate our team of beauty professionals. Conduct performance reviews, manage conflict, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Client Experience Management: Ensure every guest receives an exceptional, seamless, 5-star experience from arrival to departure. Gracefully handle complex client inquiries or service resolutions.
- Inventory & Vendor Control: Oversee retail and professional product inventory, manage ordering, and coordinate with luxury product brand representatives and suppliers.
- Business Growth & Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including rebooking rates, retail conversion, and average ticket spend. Work closely with ownership to implement promotional campaigns and client retention strategies.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years of management experience in a luxury salon, high-end spa, hospitality, or premium retail environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency with modern salon management platforms (e.g., Mangomint, Zenoti, Mindbody) and POS systems.
- Leadership Presence: Exceptional communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and a polished, professional demeanor.
- Problem Solver: A proactive mindset with the ability to think on your feet, multi-task under pressure, and maintain a calm, authoritative presence.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of salon math (labor percentages, retail margins, inventory turnover) is highly preferred.
