Key responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of residential, commercial, and/or construction sites according to company checklists and standards.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize surfaces, clean restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas.
- Safely use cleaning products and equipment as trained and directed.
- Follow site-specific procedures for healthcare, rental, or specialty environments where applicable.
- Report any issues, damages, or safety concerns to your supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing Royal Cleaners at client locations.
Required qualifications
- Resume.
- At least 1 professional reference with Canadian work experience (cleaning or related field strongly preferred).
- Ability to legally work in Canada only.
- Clear criminal background check (or willingness to obtain).
- Vulnerable sector check (or willingness to obtain) – priority requirement for this role.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion).
- Basic English communication skills (spoken and written) to follow instructions and safety procedures.
Preferred experience
- Previous professional cleaning experience in Canada (residential, commercial, hotel, healthcare, construction, or janitorial).
- Experience working with checklists, schedules, and quality standards.
- Driver's License
Certificates that are an asset
