Job Summary
As a Kitchen Crew Member, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food with enthusiasm and efficiency. Duties
- Assist in food preparation by assembling ingredients and cooking menu items according to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Serve customers at the counter or drive-thru with friendly and efficient service
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Support meal preparation during peak hours to ensure timely service delivery
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped
- Follow all safety protocols related to cooking equipment and food handling to prevent accidents
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with serving customers in fast-paced settings helps deliver excellent guest experiences
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic meal preparation skills is a plus
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fergus, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Quick service & fast food restaurant: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Ontario Drivers License (preferred)
