You have 2+ years of experience in a customer service position and you are a motivated, enthusiastic with good communication skills. Also, you have good knowledge in retailing and distribution.
The Inside Sales Representative main function is to act as a link between the sales, shipping and purchasing departments. The market development officer also serves as the internal contact point for HYDROGARDENS customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting customers with telephone orders.
- Responding to customer requests for information.
- Approaching customers to arrange new delivery dates in the event of overdue orders.
- Notifying the buyer in the event of a refusal by the client to extend the delivery date.
- Informing TERIS representatives of any updates or changes to their respective customer orders.
- Maintaining his or her product knowledge up to date.
- Keep store product display.
- Keep store product display and showcase well maintained and up-to-date.
Administration
- Preparing the report of the requested dates.
- Tracking and following up on outstanding customer orders.
- Attending team meetings.
Other
- Replacing other workers at the front counter when necessary.
- All other tasks aimed at improving the efficiency and profitability of the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Basic knowledge of sales techniques.
- Strong ability to learn how to use an ERP system.
- Experience with Omni ERP (an asset).
- Experience with WMS system and RF scanner (an asset).
- Ability to use Microsoft suite effectively.
- Sound understanding of the laws and regulations applicable to certain products.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
