Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The Mechanic will play a vital part in minimizing downtime and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues on machinery and equipment using appropriate tools and techniques
- Perform repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance on various mechanical systems
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they lead to failure
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair tasks and ensure safety standards are met
- Assist in installing new equipment or machinery as needed
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies during all maintenance activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar maintenance role
- Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial or automotive systems
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools required for repair work
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or technical training related to mechanical systems are a plus
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures at all times
Pay: $23.56-$25.00 per hour
