Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, process parts orders, and order cleaning supplies. This role requires strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with efficient parts management. Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30 pm
Duties
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Process incoming parts shipments, verify quantities, and update inventory databases.
- Assist with sourcing and procurement of parts through negotiation and supplier relationships.
- Manage parts ordering, purchasing, and demand planning to meet operational needs.
- Support the supply chain by coordinating with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting technicians with parts inquiries.
- Operate forklifts safely for handling heavy or bulky items as needed.
- Ensure the availability of mechanical parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Utilize data entry skills to accurately record transactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience or background in commercial vehicles is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is an asset.
- Computer experience is required.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other employees in a small shop.
- Must have a valid class 5 license to operate service truck.
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
