We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Prep Cook/Customer Service team member to join our dynamic food service environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to established recipes and safety standards
- Cook and assemble menu items efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders accurately and handling transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for staff and customers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen equipment is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to serve customers effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
- Safe Food Handling Certificate is required
