Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations, assist with specimen collection, and ensure accurate data management. Prior experience in hospital settings, phlebotomy, or laboratory work is highly valued, along with strong knowledge of medical terminology and data analysis skills.
Duties
- Collect and process biological specimens following established protocols
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with sample labeling, documentation, and data entry into laboratory information systems
- Support clinical staff with patient preparation and specimen collection procedures
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends or irregularities in test results
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control procedures
- Maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities and specimen handling
- Participate in quality assurance activities and assist with inventory management
Requirements
- Previous hospital or clinical laboratory experience preferred
- Certification or training in phlebotomy is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
- Experience with data analysis tools or software is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to confidentiality standards
