Automotive Parts Technician
Location: Southside Auto Wreckers
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Automotive Parts Puller to join our growing auto recycling team. This is a hands-on position responsible for locating, removing, and preparing quality used automotive parts from vehicles in our salvage yard.
Responsibilities
Locate and identify requested automotive parts.
Safely remove parts from vehicles using hand and power tools.
Inspect parts for quality and report any damage or defects.
Label and prepare parts for inventory and shipment.
Keep work areas organized and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
Assist with other yard duties as required.
Qualifications
Mechanically inclined with a good understanding of automotive components.
Previous automotive repair, dismantling, or recycling experience is an asset but not required.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting.
Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license is preferred.
