The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Class 1 or Class 3 Truck Driver to join our team in Elmsdale, NS. You’ll play a key role in the delivery, setup, installation and demobilization of office trailers and modular buildings that serve clients across various sectors. While most work is based in Nova Scotia, occasional travel to other Maritime provinces may be required.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate and drive trucks to transport and deliver office trailers and modular buildings
- Responsible for the setup, installation, and demobilization of modular units at various sites, including physically demanding tasks such as securing and leveling units on jack stands, and installing aluminum stairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Other duties may include office trailer maintenance as time permits.
What You Bring
- A valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
- 3+ years of professional driving experience, ideally with oversize or specialty loads
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to juggle tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently
