Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, including windows, doors, and storefronts. The Glazier will work with a variety of materials and tools to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to read drawings and schematics.
Duties
- Install glass panels in windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications.
- Measure glass to fit specific dimensions using hand tools and power tools.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure airtight installations.
- Repair or replace broken glass in existing structures..
- Read and interpret drawings and schematics to determine installation requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to glass installation.
- Ability to read drawings and schematics accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials safely.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
