The Role
We're looking for a skilled, reliable Carpenter/Labourer who takes genuine pride in the quality of their work. This isn't a role for someone who cuts corners or needs constant oversight to stay on track. You'll work across a variety of residential renovation, deck, and structural repair projects — including work in occupied buildings and condominium properties — and you'll be expected to show up ready, work clean, and leave the job better than you found it.
For the right candidate, there's a clear path to a lead carpenter or crew lead role.
Key Responsibilities
- Selective demolition and site preparation
- Framing — interior, exterior, and structural
- Flooring installation (LVP, tile, laminate, hardwood)
- Finish carpentry, including trim and cabinet installation
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Tile work (showers, bathrooms, backsplashes)
- Deck and fence construction
- Interior painting and finishing
- Work on occupied residential and condominium properties, with professionalism and awareness of residents
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in carpentry or residential renovations
- A track record of producing clean, quality work — not just getting it done, but getting it done right
- Reliable transportation (required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check your own work
- Punctual, consistent, and accountable — someone who takes ownership of their tasks
- Ability to read plans, follow direction, and work independently when needed
- Professional conduct on job sites, including occupied buildings
Own tools are an asset but not mandatory.
Candidates who demonstrate leadership ability, quality-focused thinking, and consistency will be considered for future crew lead opportunities.
What We Offer
- Consistent work across diverse, interesting projects
- Clear path to advancement and increased responsibility for the right person
- A team that values doing the job properly — not just quickly
- Fair compensation based on experience and demonstrated quality of work
- Long-term opportunity with a company that is growing deliberately and sustainably
If you do good work and want to be part of a team that notices — we want to hear from you.
