Job Description
Key responsibilities of a pharmacy technician include
- Processing of prescriptions and adjudicating to third party insurance.
- Checking blister packs and refill prescriptions.
- Assisting patients with OTC recommendations.
- Accurate filling and dispensing of prescription medications
- Helping patients picking up medications.
- Answering telephones and handling customer requests.
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities
Qualifications
-Licensed with BC College of pharmacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficient computer and data entry skills.
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
