Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team and drive business growth. Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Lead, supervise, and motivate sales staff to achieve individual and team goals
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, pricing, and inventory management
- Manage customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Conduct recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new staff members
- Handle payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy
- Coordinate marketing efforts to promote products and increase store visibility
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management
- Organize promotional events and manage POS systems for seamless transactions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store procedures
- Manage budgeting processes to optimize store profitability and resource allocation
Experience
- Proven track record in retail sales management or store management roles
- Strong leadership experience with supervising teams in a retail setting
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement
- Skilled in merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives
- Proficient in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Experience with recruiting, training & development, and team building
- Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Demonstrated organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities
- Familiarity with retail management software and basic math skills for financial transactions
