Summary of the position:
The Talent Acquisition & Retention Coordinator supports full‑cycle recruitment, workforce planning, and employee retention initiatives to ensure a strong, stable, and engaged workforce. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role builds talent pipelines, strengthens employer branding, manages recruitment systems, and supports programs that enhance employee experience, diversity, and long‑term organizational success.
Your Background:
- Experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role
- Skilled in full‑cycle recruiting, sourcing, and candidate assessment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing roles and workforce needs
- Familiar with job boards, social media, resume databases, and professional networks
- Knowledge of ATS/HRIS systems and recruitment metrics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel)
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Fluent in English; strong team ethic
Responsibilities:
- Forecast hiring needs and support succession planning
- Coordinate with managers to define staffing requirements
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, and networks
- Lead employer branding initiatives and attend recruitment events
- Manage job advertising and external recruitment partners
- Review resumes and screen candidates
- Develop job descriptions and interview questions
- Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Report recruitment metrics regularly
- Support onboarding and new‑hire integration
- Implement engagement and retention initiatives (events, surveys, Townhalls)
- Analyze engagement feedback and recommend improvements
- Support DEI programs and track related metrics
- Assist with immigration processes (visas, permits, PR)
- Coordinate community involvement activities
- Collaborate with HR, IT, legal, and external partners
- Perform additional duties and special projects as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition
- HR Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience recruiting in fast‑paced manufacturing or automotive environments
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems
- Strong sourcing and full‑cycle recruitment skills
- Knowledge of recruitment metrics and KPIs
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Familiarity with job boards, social media, and professional networks
- Experience with employer branding and engagement programs
- Fluent in English; strong team ethic
