Refuge Bay is currently looking for a subcontract maintenance worker to assist with site setup for bookings, general site maintenance, and any emergent maintenance requests that may come during a guest's stay.
General working hours are between the hours of 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM with flexibility in daily task schedules.
The right candidate for this role will be able to:

- know general handyman knowledge
- physically able to lift, move, and carry heavier items without limitations (water pumps and 100 lbs propane tanks)
- ability to use wood splitter, trimers, chainsaw, and snowblowers
- use of other maintenance tools as needed
- be prepared for outdoor work
The ability to drive to site is necessary, along with a class 5 driver's license. The successful candidate will be required to drive a manual mini-truck, a skid-steer, and a utility vehicle.
Wage is negotiable based on experience and schedule flexibility/availability.
Refuge Bay is currently Alberta's only four-season glamping destination located an hour northwest of Edmonton. Offering unique getaways with a mix of state-of-the-art geodesic domes and off-grid cabins, each accompanied with wood fired saunas & hot tubs, as well as outdoor living areas.
