Gymnastics Instructor: The Perfect Student Job for Former Gymnasts, Cheerleaders, and Acrobatic Athletes
The Children’s Fitness Centres of Canada (CFCC) is seeking enthusiastic high school and university students with gymnastics, cheerleading, or acrobatic backgrounds who want to stay connected to the sport they love while making a meaningful impact on children. Many of our best coaches are former gymnasts, cheerleaders, and dancers who want to continue developing their skills, build leadership experience, and help the next generation of athletes grow. This is more than a typical part-time job — it’s an opportunity to develop professional coaching skills, gain valuable experience, and become part of a structured, supportive coaching team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
As a CFCC coach, you will:
- Teach artistic gymnastics-based fitness classes using our structured lesson plans
- Help children learn skills on floor, beam, bars, vault, and trampoline
- Provide spotting and hands-on support using safe, approved techniques
- Create a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment
- Help children build confidence, coordination, and athletic ability
- Work as part of a supportive coaching team
Every class is structured, and you will always know what to teach.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for candidates with:

- Willingness to learn and improve
Previous coaching experience is helpful but not required. We will train you.
SCHEDULING
Part-time (and full-time) shifts are typically scheduled:
- After school hours
- Evenings
- Weekends
Schedules are consistent and planned in advance to support student availability.
COMPENSATION$18.00 – $25.00 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skill level, and coaching ability.
