Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and excellent service are valued. Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work, especially within hotels or hospitality settings, is preferred but not required. A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere are essential.
Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary amenities
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and common areas as assigned
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and security
- Restock linen supplies and ensure all cleaning carts are organized and stocked for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning methods, is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor suitable for guest interactions
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
