Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer/Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing, carpentry, and related construction skills, with the ability to interpret. This role involves working mostly residential projects, requiring proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and operating telhandler. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within the construction industry and plays a vital role in delivering high-quality building projects.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications
- Frame walls, floors, roof packages, and other structural components using appropriate materials and techniques
- Operate power tools such as saws, drills, and air nailers safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools for measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing woodwork or other materials
- Install siding, perform restoration work, and handle other exterior or interior carpentry tasks
- Manage heavy lifting safely to transport materials and equipment around the job site
- Operate telehandler when necessary for site preparation or material handling
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in framing, carpentry, or related construction roles
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, air tools, and woodworking techniques.
- Knowledge of telehaner operation is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when required
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license preferred for site access and material transportation
