Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Line Manager to oversee the development, production, and continuous improvement of our product lines. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating cross-functional teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring product quality aligns with company standards. This position offers an opportunity to lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation within our manufacturing environment.
Hours: 8am-4:30pm MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AFTERNOON SHIFT AFTER TRAINING
Pay: $18.00/hr
Duties
- Monitor the work on line and ensure there is sufficent packaging and products available to fulfil orders
- Lifting packaging up to 40lbs
- Understand and apply principles of Food Safety Policy
- Oversee quality control procedures to maintain high standards of product quality and compliance.
- Deal with machines, ink jet printers, sealer
- Coordinate assembly operations and ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols.
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing process improvements and new product introductions.
- Monitor supply chain activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
- Prepare reports on product performance, production metrics, and process enhancements for senior management.
Skills
- In-depth understanding of supply chain management within a manufacturing context.
- Experience with quality control standards and practices to ensure product excellence.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and innovation.
