Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction, manufacturing, or maintenance projects by performing manual tasks that contribute to the overall success of our operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Perform basic site cleanup and debris removal to maintain a safe work environment
- Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
- Operate hand tools and basic machinery under supervision
- Prepare work areas by setting up equipment and materials
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Assist in the transportation of supplies and materials around the work site
- Perform other general labor tasks as assigned by supervisors
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or general labor is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a work environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
