Senior Accountant (CPA Required)

Our client, a well-established and growing public practice firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a designated CPA who enjoys working closely with clients, managing year-end engagements, and contributing within a collaborative and professional environment.
The successful candidate will bring strong public practice experience with the ability to independently prepare year-end files, corporate tax returns, and audit working papers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CPA designation required
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience
- Strong experience preparing year-end financial statements and supporting working paper files
- Experience preparing corporate tax returns (T2s)
- Audit and assurance experience, including preparation of audit working papers
- Strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards and tax compliance
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience mentoring or reviewing junior staff considered an asset

Pay: $80,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
