We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician (OFF ROAD) to join our team. As an Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with heavy machinery.
** this job is a 14/14 schedule, all days, and is a field based position** with accommodations supplied.
```Responsibilities```
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, both mechanical and electrical
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide excellent customer service
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy machinery
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
