WRAP IT RIGHT INSULATION .LTD is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Insulator to join our team in Saskatoon. We specialize in providing high-quality insulation solutions for commercial and industrial mechanical systems. This role is vital for ensuring energy efficiency and system longevity for our clients.
Key Responsibilities Install Insulation: Apply insulation materials (such as fiberglass, mineral wool, or rubber) to pipes, tanks, boilers, and HVAC ductwork.
Fitting and Finishing: Measure and cut insulation for a precise fit. Apply protective coverings like PVC jacketing, aluminum, or stainless steel cladding.
Blueprints: Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the required layout and material types.
Maintenance: Repair or replace existing insulation as needed during site visits or renovations.
Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment and strictly adhere to provincial safety regulations and site-specific PPE requirements. Requirements & Qualifications
Communication: Must have excellent English speaking skills to effectively communicate with site supervisors, team members, and clients.
Experience: Previous experience in mechanical insulation (commercial or industrial) is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights (on ladders or lifts), and lift heavy materials throughout the day.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools used in the trade (e.g., bellows, crimpers, and snips). Logistics & Transportation
Personal Transport: Must have reliable transportation for commuting within city limits to various job sites throughout Saskatoon.
Punctuality: Ability to arrive at designated sites on time and ready for shifts.
