We are seeking a skilled CNC Boring Mill Machinist DIRECT HIRE POSITION to join our fantasitc work environment manufacturing team on the AFTERNOON SHIFT. This direct-hire BENEFITS DAY 1 position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced machinists to work with advanced equipment and contribute to precision manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency with CNC Boring Mill programming, and experience reading blueprints and technical drawings. Mist be able to sey up, program and modify programs
Duties
- Operate CNC boring mills in a Mold shop/ facility. Min 3 years experience on Boring Mills a must!!
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models using SolidWorks and other CAD software to set up machining operations
- Program CNC machines to produce precise components according to specifications, utilizing CNC programming skills
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on machining equipment
- Measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents for accurate machining setups
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift as needed for assembly or material handling
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC boring mills or similar machining equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in machining operations
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages. PowerMill , Lemoine or masterCam
- Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models (SolidWorks preferred)
- Familiarity with basic math skills necessary for precise measurement and calculations in machining tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
