Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes
- Operate various welding techniques including MIG, hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment such as press brake machines to shape, cut, and assemble metal parts
- Perform rigging tasks to lift, position, and secure heavy materials safely using forklifts, skid steers
- Conduct quality inspections utilizing basic math skills and schematics to ensure parts meet specifications
- Fabricate structural components, or custom assemblies for manufacturing
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding, machining, and material handling
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG) with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, cranes, forklifts, and hand tools
- Ability to use calipers, schematics, power tools, and other fabrication equipment effectively
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
- Construction or manufacturing experience preferred; experience with ductwork or assembly projects is a plus
- Valid certification in welding techniques is highly desirable; relevant certifications in rigging or crane operation are advantageous

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
