We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Duties
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols
- Manage medication inventory, including ordering, storage, and distribution
- Supervise pharmacy staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy plans
- Ensure accurate medication dispensing and administration in accordance with medical orders
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy laws
- Implement policies to improve patient care services and operational efficiency
- Monitor medication safety practices and address any issues related to medication errors or adverse reactions
- Stay updated on new medications, medical terminology, and industry best practices
- Participate in hospital committees or interdisciplinary teams focused on patient care initiatives
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in Alberta and eligible to act as a Licensee.
- Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy management or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care.

Pay: $63.00-$66.00 per hour
