What You’ll Do
- Safely operate Class 1 semi-trucks with end-dump and belly-dump trailers
- Haul sand and gravel to job sites across Winnipeg
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Pre-plan routes and manage delivery documentation
- Secure and unload loads in compliance with safety standards
- Track loads, hours of service, fuel usage, and distance traveled
- Communicate with dispatch, drivers, and customers via radio and onboard systems
- Maintain clean, well-kept equipment
- Follow all traffic laws, safety policies, and company procedures
What You Bring
- Valid Manitoba Class 1A Driver’s Licence
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Minimum 1 year gravel hauling experience
- Minimum 1 year end-dump experience
- Familiarity with City of Winnipeg routes
- Ability to communicate clearly in spoken English
- Snow removal experience is considered an asset
- Air Brake Endorsement preferred
