Total Rewards Specialist
Location: Vancouver, Prince George, or Remote within BC/Alberta
Salary Range: $78,000 - $115,000
At Drax, we’re working to create a more sustainable future through renewable energy, and our people are central to that work.
In Canada, we’re building a high-performing, modern HR function to better support our operations. We’re looking for a Total Rewards Specialist to join our team and take ownership of how benefits and total rewards are delivered across the country.
Reporting to the HR Director, Canada, you’ll work closely with the Canadian HR Team, the North America Reward Director in the US, and the broader Total Rewards team in the UK. While you’ll have that global connection and support, you’ll be the dedicated Total Rewards lead for Canada.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys streamlining processes, improving how things are done, and working in an environment where they can make a visible impact.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering and continuously improving total rewards programs across Canada, with a strong focus on benefits administration and employee experience.
You’ll manage the day-to-day delivery of benefits, disability processes, and total rewards support, while also contributing to compensation activities and broader initiatives. You will work closely with employees, leaders, vendors, and HR partners to ensure our programs are well-run, clearly understood, and aligned with business needs.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. Priorities can shift, and there is a steady flow of work across multiple areas. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, managing details, and identifying opportunities to improve processes along the way.
For the right person, this is a chance to take full ownership of Total Rewards in Canada and help shape how the function grows
