Subcontract Templator (Freelance / Contract)
Progressive Countertop is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Subcontract
Templator to support our growing workload in the Windsor and surrounding area. This role is ideal for a professional who is proficient in CAD-based software and equipped with their own digital templating system.
Responsibilities
- Perform precise on-site digital measurements using your own templating equipment
- Create accurate CAD-based templates for countertop fabrication
- Verify site conditions and identify any issues that could affect production or installation
- Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and installers to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail in all measurements and outputs
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a templator using digital templating systems
- Strong proficiency in CAD-based software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar)
- Must own and operate your own digital measuring/templating equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Required Experience
- 2-3 years of experience specifically in digital countertop templating (quartz, granite, solid surface)
