Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating septic trucks to complete pump outs. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to regulations, and efficient scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate septic trucks to transport sewage to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transit
- Assist with warehouse duties when not on the road
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record (3A or 1A)
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols diligently
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as required
