Warehouse Associate @ Lake of Bays Brewing Company
In this role, you would be responsible for operating packaging equipment, a forklift to fulfill orders, packing pallets and assisting with the delivery of beer and raw ingredients.
What YOU will be doing:
● Load and unload products from the delivery truck
● Conduct daily inspections of the delivery vehicle
● Add fuel and maintain detailed records of fuel costs and mileage
● Deliver items by the required delivery date and time
● Process required paperwork to ensure accurate records are kept of all shipments
● Lift and move products for packaging of pallets and online orders
● Operating and maintaining forklifts, hand/power tools and packaging equipment
● Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
What YOU bring to the table:
● Valid G License with a clear driver’s abstract
● Forklift experience preferred (a huge asset for us, but we can train you!)
● Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
● Ability to effectively manage your time and remain on schedule
● Results oriented, driven, and disciplined with a “can do” attitude
● Enthusiasm and a passion for craft beer (a big win for us, but not necessary!)
● Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Working Conditions:
● Full-time Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm is the norm for this role, but there may be times when overtime or work outside normal hours may be required
● Period of sitting, standing, and walking
● Lifting, twisting, crouching, and climbing
● Ability to lift 55 lbs
● Handle/manipulate up to160lbs
