We are seeking to hire Metal Roofers to perform the following duties:
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
- Install sheet metal flashings.
- Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- General construction experience with some roofing is preferred (Because we serve a very small niche market, we offer training to our employees in metal roofing).
- Must be willing/able to obtain a valid Working At Heights Training Program Standard Certificate (Recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Labour (MOL)).
- Must be able to work effectively in both team and individual surroundings.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all environments.
- Positive attitude to allow proper training, attention to detail and highly motivated.
- Must be able to problem solve and innovate. We test our applicants for attention to detail, math, and problem solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and personal transportation required.
- Must be willing to travel on occasion (lodging and meals are provided by the employer).
- Must be able to communicate in English language.
- Roofing Experience Required
Permanent, Full time (40-50 hrs/wk) @ $25.00-$35.00/hr.
