The Industrial Engineer Will:
- Analyze, propose, and implement work methods and tools to reduce non-value-added activities, waste, and safety risks
- Design and deploy performance tracking tools (e.g., Power BI) to measure operational productivity
- Explore and analyze data to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
- Establish standard times for assembly and manufacturing processes
- Design and implement plant layouts and efficient, ergonomic workstations
- Ensure synchronization of operations on production lines and across multiple sites
- Contribute to the optimization of inter-plant material flow
- Manage assigned projects and ensure successful delivery
- Position based on-site at the Drummondville facilities
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of health, safety (HSE), and environmental standards
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
- Knowledge of SAP (an asset)
- Project management and continuous improvement skills
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
- Functional English (spoken and written – an asset)
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Familiarity with CAD software for technical drawings
The successful candidate for this position must be bilingual. Fluency in French and English (verbal and written) is required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position for the following reason(s):
- The role requires interacting with English-speaking customers and suppliers across Canada and/or internationally;
- The role requires regular interactions with Siemens colleagues based outside of Quebec, nationally and internationally;
- The role requires using software or technology that is available only in English;
- The role requires liaising with foreign regulatory and governmental agencies based in the United States and/or Europe
