Fort Modular Inc. is an established modular building company since 2013. With
locations in Barriere, BC and Aldergrove, BC, we specialize in the pre-fabrication
planning, construction, redesign, delivery and installation of modular buildings,
delivering customized solutions tailored to meet our clients’ specific needs.
Fort Modular Inc. in Barriere, BC is currently seeking a Detailer/Service Technician to
join our team. This position is full-time, with the possibility of part-time consideration.
The role is based in a construction environment and involves a variety of hands-on
tasks, including:
- Cleaning and preparing modular units, including walls, doors, floors, windows, trim, furniture, equipment, and bathrooms
- Performing minor repairs such as drywall patching, basic trim work, and hardware replacements (e.g., door handles)
- Utilizing hand tools and demonstrating strong technical aptitude
- Safely handling and lifting materials up to 50 lbs
- Using cleaning products in accordance with WHMIS guidelines
- Working independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable to work at heights when required
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Assisting in other departments or tasks as needed
The schedule for this role is four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Thursday, 6am to 4pm at our Barriere facility on Agate Bay Road.
Compensation will be based on experience. A comprehensive benefits package is
available after three months of employment.
