Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet clients' needs
- Conduct hair treatments such as straightening, perming, and deep conditioning treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene by sanitizing tools, equipment, and work areas regularly
- Assist with front desk responsibilities such as booking appointments, managing client inquiries, and processing payments
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote salon products and additional services to clients
- Stay informed about the latest trends in hair styling and incorporate them into your work to provide innovative services
Requirements
- Demonstrated customer service skills to deliver exceptional experiences for clients
- Experience in retail sales to effectively showcase and sell salon products
- Excellent communication abilities to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
- Proficient in various hair styling techniques and knowledgeable about current trends in the industry
- Familiarity with front desk operations within a salon environment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly
- Strong upselling skills to recommend and promote additional services or products
