Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Sourcing Analyst specializing in Packaging to join our supply chain team. This role involves managing procurement processes, vendor relationships, and sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of packaging materials. The ideal candidate will leverage ERP systems and industry best practices to optimize sourcing activities, support manufacturing operations, and contribute to overall supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for packaging materials aligned with manufacturing needs and company objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships, evaluate supplier performance, and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure optimal value.
- Utilize SAP, ERP systems, and MRP tools to analyze procurement data, forecast demand, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks related to packaging materials to inform sourcing decisions.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support procurement activities such as purchase order creation, tracking deliveries, and resolving supplier issues promptly.
Skills
- Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, MRP software, and other supply chain management tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and packaging requirements.
- Experience in vendor management, negotiation, and strategic sourcing within a procurement or supply chain environment.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, cost analysis, and procurement best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data to make informed sourcing decisions and optimize supply chain performance.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
