Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fine Grade skidsteer operator and foreman to join our team in Canada. Based in <LOCATION>, this role is vital to ensuring the successful completion of our paving and excavation projects, aligning with our company's mission of excellence and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate skidsteer equipment with precision to achieve fine grading standards.
- Lead and supervise construction crews on-site, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate with project managers to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on heavy machinery.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of work zones.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in planning daily work schedules and resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating skidsteer equipment for grading purposes.
- Strong leadership skills with previous foreman experience preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy construction equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards in construction environments.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
