PART-TIME ON-CALL BOAT HAULER required for Alberni Power and Marine in Port Alberni. Preferred Candidate will have experience hauling boats or machines or RVs. Must be organized and have a high level of attention to detail. Candidate should have basic tool experience and knowledge of hauling/launching boats. Must have a minimum class 5 with code 20 endorsement and be able to go to the states with passport. Preferred candidate will have experience with US border crossing, importing and exporting. Must be able to work evenings and weekends when required. Average 800 Hours of hauling a year.
Duties include, but are not limited to: Cleaning Boats, Power Washing, Bottom Painting, Sweeping and Cleaning Shops, Maintaining Multiple Properties Associated To The Business. Hauling and Launch Boats. Organizing Storages and Yard. Lifting over 50lbs.
This is a permanent part-time, on call position, may lead into full time shop hand and hauling position if desired. Must have a clean driver's license. Forklift Ticket or Experience is an asset. Wage depending on experience. Please provide references.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
