Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Physics Teacher to inspire students and foster a deep understanding of physics concepts. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and supportive learning environment, encourage critical thinking, and help students develop strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with high school physics curriculum standards.
- Teach core physics topics such as mechanics, electricity & magnetism, waves, and modern physics.
- Foster a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation.
- Design and conduct laboratory experiments to enhance hands-on learning and conceptual understanding.
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and varying academic levels.
- Provide additional support (e.g., tutoring or extra help sessions) for students who require it.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and academic staff to support student development.
- Prepare students for standardized tests or academic competitions where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience teaching high school physics is preferred.
- Strong understanding of physics concepts and the ability to explain them clearly.
- Experience with laboratory instruction and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with curriculum standards (e.g., Ontario curriculum or equivalent) is an asset.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Experience in tutoring or mentoring students is considered an advantage.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
