Job Summary
We are currently seeking experienced Dump Truck Drivers and Live Bottom Drivers to join our growing team. These positions involve transporting materials to and from job sites across Haldimand County to support a wide range of excavation and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks or live bottom trailers
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load, transport, and unload materials while ensuring safety and efficiency
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery and maintenance records
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and crew members
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating dump trucks or live bottom trailers
- Solid understanding of heavy vehicle safety and maintenance
- Ability to conduct routine vehicle checks and report issues
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
Assets (Preferred but Not Required)
- Previous experience in the construction industry
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Experience with snow removal operations
- Experience with floating equipment (loading/unloading and transporting machinery)
